To kick start 2018 London Fashion Week, Africa’s own colourful fashion event tagged ‘Fashion4Africa’ will slide the curtain open on the night of September 14.
Fashion4Africa UK showcase 2018 is an exclusive annual competition for models and fashion designers of African descent.
This year’s event will be hosted on Friday the 14th of September 2018 at the stylish and somewhat traditional venue, The China Exchange in Soho, West End of London (well-chosen venue in an original entertainment and fashionable district).
Fashion4Africa UK showcase 2018 will feature over 25 models with African heritage on the runway and many designers who have immersed their designing skills in showcasing African traditional and contemporary fashion styles.
Designers include Fiona Adetula representing Nigeria with a contemporary jersey collection based on a mid-1920’s theme, Ghana’s Michelle Asare with her honest tag ‘Sincerely Nude’ and lots more. Michelle Asare says “it’s all about being comfortable in our own skin; body confidence and acceptance is key.”
There will be various live entertainments on the night.
